Privacy policy

Most privacy policies are long because a lot is collected. Ours is short because almost nothing is. Effective date: 2026-07-01.

The short version

We can't see your data, because there is no server. RiseProof has no accounts, no cloud, and no backend. Your alarms, missions, streaks and settings exist only on your phone.

What we collect

• Purchase state. Whether you've bought the Lifetime Unlock. This is processed by Apple or Google through their stores; we don't run payment servers and don't see your payment details.
• Crash logs. Standard, anonymized crash reports via the platforms' built-in mechanisms, used only to fix bugs.

What we don't collect

Everything else. When you wake up, when you fail to, your streaks, your mission results, your motion-sensor data during push-up missions, the codes you scan — none of it leaves your device, because all verification runs locally and RiseProof has no server to send anything to. No account exists, so there is no profile, email list, behavioral analytics, advertising ID use, or sale of data. There is nothing to sell.

Sensors and permissions

The camera (QR mission) and motion sensors (push-up, shake and step missions) are used only at the moment of mission verification, processed in memory on-device, and never recorded or transmitted. Notification, exact-alarm and Do-Not-Disturb-access permissions are used solely to make the alarm ring reliably.

Your data

Alarms and streaks are stored in the app's local storage and are included in your normal device backup (iCloud / Google). Deleting the app deletes them. We cannot access, recover or delete your data remotely, because we never have it.
